Pyramid Hill College
Pyramid Hill College is a rural school with a student focus. The college is very well resourced and has spacious grounds and a sports stadium. The college has recently obtained some new buildings while the older buildings interiors reveal well equipped classrooms which have recently been refurbished. One of the highlights of the college is the agricultural area which includes a large orchard and vineyard. Our philosophy is to develop each student to their full potential. Small class sizes that are the envy of most schools make this possible.
The College has two sub-schools: the Junior School (Prep to Year 6) and the Senior School (Years 7 & 10). Each sub-school has a different focus to complement the different development stages of students
Pyramid Hill College provides a comprehensive, co-educational curriculum program which gives all students access to the eight Key Learning Areas (KLA). Within the Years Prep to 6, Multi-age grouping occurs. All students undertake 7 lessons per day of 43 minutes each. Changes are presently being made to the curriculum to meet the requirements of the New Victorian Curriculum.
